TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES
Homelessness among families in Uganda is a critical issue that demands immediate and sustained attention. Families are struggling with inadequate income, lack of affordable housing, and family violence, which are structural factors that perpetuate homelessness.
The burden of homelessness disproportionately falls on single mothers like Shaluwa, who are doing everything they can to provide a better life for their children. The situation is dire, and we must act now to provide families with the support they need to secure a stable and comfortable home. By addressing the root causes of family homelessness and providing resources to help families get back on their feet, we can make a lasting impact and ensure that everyone has a safe and stable place to call home.
